It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of our colleague Michele Lanzinger, member of the ICOM Europe Board and former President of ICOM Italy.

Michele firmly believed in the importance of European museums working together and realizing their shared potential. Throughout his career, he championed collaboration, dialogue, and professional exchange across the museum community. He supported the mission of ICOM Europe with great dedication, vision, and the invaluable insight gained through his distinguished experience in the museum sector.

His thoughtful perspective, generosity, kindness, and commitment to museums will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working with him.
